Pitt/Cuse/BC

Works for me.
You put Pitt in the East with PSU, you have some tremendous rivalry games in both divisions:

OSU-Mich
Iowa-Neb
PSU-Pitt
Mich-MSU
Iowa-Minny
Iowa-Wis.
Ill- Mo.
PU-IU
NW-Ill.
Iowa-ND
Neb-ND

Frankly, despite OSU,Mich and PSU in the East, I think the West would have a lot of marquee value with Iowa,ND and Neb also.
This would be the dream setup for me.
Big Ten domination of the college sports world.:D

Big Ten 1
1. Iowa
2. Wisky
3. Notre Dame
4. Nebraska
5. Illinois
6. Kansas
7. Missouri
8. Minnesota

Big Ten 2
1. Ohio State
2. Michigan
3. PSU
4. Michigan State
5. Indiana
6. Purdue
7. Rutgers
8. Northwestern

ND has a better chance of coming if they think the door will be open for them to the championship game. They would be mistaken, but nonetheless...

What I really see from this list is that if ND does not come, then I think there is no way Big Ten brings Kansas. It will be an assault on the Eastern Seaboard.

If ND does come, then I see them concentrating more on the midwest plains region.

All of this being said, I think the four team pod system would be better for Iowa. Otherwise, the west could quickly begin to look like the Big 12 North. Don't make that mistake again.

West Pod
Iowa
Nebby
Wisky
Minny

West/Central Pod
ND
Illinois
NW
Mizzou

East/Central Pod
UM
MSU
Indy
Purdue

East Pod
OSU
PSU
Rutgers
Other Big East/ACC team.

Kansas? Really? Lincoln is as far west as I am willing to venture.

KU bb is a valuable trademark, but otherwise,KU does nothing for me.
And BB is a minor player in this process.
Need more of an eastern presence to balance out Mo. and Neb.
Pitt is good in both sports, and are a built-in rival for PSU...

That would be interesting. Michigan would win their pod for football most years.
