Big Ten - Final Standings

Today sure made things interesting. Here's where we are right now...with remaining games.

Indiana 13-3 --- OSU & @ MI
Michigan State 11-5 --- WI & NW
Michigan 11-5 --- @ PU & IN
Wisconsin 11-5 --- @ MSU & @ PSU
Ohio State 11-5 --- @ IN & IL
Illinois 8-8 --- @ IA & @ OSU
Minnesota 8-8 --- @ NE & @ PU
Iowa 7-9 --- IL & NE
Purdue 7-9 --- MI & MN
Nebraska 4-12 --- MN & @ IA
Northwestern 4-12 --- PSU & @ MSU
Penn State 1-15 --- @ NW & WI

Here's my prediction. Relax...just a best guess.

Indiana 15-3
Michigan State 13-5
Michigan 12-6
Wisconsin 12-6
Ohio State 12-6
Minnesota 9-9
Iowa 9-9
Illinois 8-10
Purdue 8-10
Northwestern 5-13
Nebraska 4-14
Penn State 1-17
 


If it ends this way (Big If) we get NW then MSU in the BTT. Does anyone know for sure which team gets the 3 seed...assuming these are the final standings? I would love to play NW, MSU and either Wisconsin or OSU...avoid both IN and MI before the finals. Indiana losing to Michigan would be bad because we then have to play both of the Michigan schools to make the finals...assuming the rest of the results stay the same.
 


Good look...might have a couple of minor differences, but this was a fun post to read/think about. Thanks!

Gets them ready for NCAA time. After this league season, seriously, what NCAA tourney game can surpass it?

Negative
Most likely denies Big-10 two #1 seeds in dance. Indy, yes, scUM a #2, MSU #3, Wisky #4....the rest I have no clue.
 


Last two are must wins for Iowa so they don't get an 8 or 9 seed and play IU second round. It would be a huge (unlikely) bonus if Wisconsin won at Mich State and got the 2 seed.
 




Agreed. This is how I hope it goes this week...dismissing unlikely upsets like Michigan State losing at Northwestern.

I'm not notching it up as a win...not getting that from others either. I do believe we should win the game. We have lost 2 games at home to Indiana by 4 and Michigan State by 3. Illinois is not Indiana or Michigan State...especially on the road. They are more of a Wisconsin or Minnesota...teams we beat without too much trouble on our home court.

I know the final score of the Purdue at Wisconsin game this weekend. Nothing is ever a given...but we should win these last 2 home games IMO.
