If you include new members. I really thought Minnesota might have had the best chance to win a bowl game. Then Rutgers goes down as expected but Maryland to Marshall! Michigan gets trounced by a mediocre K State!

Its hard to admit but the Big Ten really is not good! According to all the experts Iowa has no chance and I dont see an easy win with any of the others.
 
I thought Minnesota would win, but I expected Michigan to lose. Kansas State was significantly better in the second half of their season, whereas Michigan went I the opposite direction. I think Iowa, MSU, Wisconsin, and Ohio State have very good chances of winning their games. Nebraska will probably get rolled.
 
Sorry, it's 0-2. neither Maryland or New Jersey (rutgers) would have made a bowl if they would have played in the B10 this year.
 
We really need the p12 and sec games.
Thats all that really matters.
Hope our boys are up for it.
Wisc should be ok
Who knows about nebby, have they ever won a bowl?
I cant see msu losing. I know who they are playing, but lets face it, as of now they are the bullies of the big and they thrive on physicality.
 
Yeah, except they have suspended their best linebacker and the quarterback of their defense, Bullough. He must have killed someone for Dantonio to kick him off the squad for this game.

Rumor has it that Bullough murdered two homeless people, had "relations" with their dead bodies, and then urinated on them. It was only after the public urination charge that Dantonio determined a suspension was necessary.
 
I've got a good feeling about Wisconsin versus South Carolina. By good feeling, I mean Wisconsin is going to lose.
 
Have a bad feeling that we might see 0 and 8 from the B10, not sure where you find a win when you really look at it.
 
If you look at the B10 does any player on O really scare you desides maybe Miller who can be contained.

Honestly, I think the B10 continues to demonstrate they are a second rate conference.

Exactly. That's like claiming Nebraska's record from before they were in the Big Ten.

Rutgers and Maryland are not in the Big Ten. Yet.
 
Posted this in another thread....but is applicable...

I have defended the B1G vigorously and used all the old excuses to do so (probably just so badly want to stop all the "B1G is weak talk" and want the Hawk's wins to have meant something)... but given MN, Mich, and NIUs performances against the teams they've played...1) the B1G is showing that the detractors may be correct and 2) I am getting less confident in the Hawks chances against a talented LSU squad.

I hope I'm wrong and the Hawks can have a strong showing, even in a loss. I'm typically pretty optimistic and realistic(even "apologistic" some would say) and I think WISC has a good shot, as well OSU if they play well. Not sure on MSU but they match up well.

As much as I would like to see the B1G show some strength, the best chances have already lost (and looked poor doing it). I still don't think I can get myself to cheer for nebby.

Cmon Hawks ! Play well !

Really, he peed on them...that's awful. I'm thinking Dantonio had nothing to do with the suspension and it was school related. That's my guess.

I actually heard he pulled a Najeh Davenport "Dump Truck" impersonation on the corpses and that is what warranted the suspension. The urination charge would only warrant a suspension from the pre-game warmups.
