Big Recruiting Weekend on Tap, Here’s Who Will Be at Kinnick

Thanks for the list. Looks like a great group.

We need to get that Putnam kid from Illinois (class of 2019). Talk about an OL with a nasty streak. If you get a chance watch his tape for the beat down he dishes out. Reminds me of a young Marshall Yanda.

I like Putnam a lot and have spoken with him several times. Saw him at the opening in Chicago.

He understands that we don't offer many OL by early in their sophomore year so he's fine being patient. I don't sense that Illinois or Pitt have a huge advantage because they've already offered.

Do you think he may eventually be a 4 star? I realize he still has three years of high school ball ahead of him but if he gets to 280+ lbs by his senior year in HS with that aggressiveness ... look out.

Sure. He has a chance. Big frame with plenty of development time. Definitely one to watch.

I was told that the Oregon official visit was switched to another weekend because of logistics. Since OM was going to be in Iowa City today, he decided to go to Iowa-ISU game.
