Several juniors will be in town today

Popular thought is that Jay Scheel will commit to Iowa today. He was talking real high on Iowa all last week, with Scout and Rivals.

He has offers from Iowa, Iowa State, Minnesota and Nebraska and I know that others have been showing interest, including Oregon. He will be a WR or QB. Iowa has told him he can choose.

Scheel likely won't end up at QB. He plays the position similarly to the way guys like DJK and Reese Fleming did in high school. To that end, he's likely similar to those two in that he could get offers to play QB, but only really from option-first schools. Expect Scheel to wind up at either WR or DB.

This. It is a complete and total waste of talent to put this guy on defense. He needs to have the ball in his hands as much as possible.

Sort of looks like Russell Wilson. Maybe he's got a little Russell in him on the field as well.

His HS coach said he was going to be a QB. Hopefully he has the skills to stay at that position and think might be a reason the Hawks didn't offer the QB from KC.
