BIG EAST/BIG TEN CHALLENGE

"An annual series of eight games between the two conferences that will run through 2020...Each Big East team will play a minimum of six times during the length of the eight-year deal, and each Big Ten program will participate at least four times."

Interesting that they don't do it like the B1G/ACC and play as many as they can. Basically half the B1G teams wont play per year.

I think they'll do it this way so the level of competition is up. They don't want to the bottom feeders from the B10 being on display most likely (Rutgers). I know they're saying every team will play a minimum of games throughout the series, but maybe they'll keep the lowest projected teams in the conference for that season out that year. And yes, I know some teams will always be projected low (Rutgers), but you know what I mean.

Also, the B10 has 14 teams compared to only 10 in the Big L'East.
