"Big" Deal 3 Wins 7 Losses

The conference doesn't look so good. Comments:

PSU appears to be the team of the future. Notice how they tackle the old fashioned way. You just don't see players leading with the helmet.

MN appeared to be a very sound team.

Michigan had/has not QB. Losing all those defender next year a hard replace.

OSU looked like a tire team that was smallish on the corners. The peaked against OU.

Indiana looking up?

MSU must be really bad to do so poorly in conference.

The Big consistently looked a half step slow. That hasn't changed much over the years.

Iowa just looked out of place in the 2nd half and the TD run.

How can Iowa's offense be so bad against anemic defenses.

Many of the games the Big was in seemed poorly attended. I doubt there were really 50,000 at the Outback. Is 24/7 game coverage a bad thing?

3-7 sucks, but it doesn't matter as there are enough B1G shills on the playoff committee to keep getting non-con champs into the top 4.

Yes, Minnesota and Northwestern had nice wins.
Indiana was more competitive that I thought they would be,
but not a good look when the top 5 B1G teams went 1-4, with the 1 being Connie over Western Michigan.

No excuses for the B1G this bowl season. They flopped in the big 4 bowls they played. Michigan and PSU pulling those games out would have changed the narrative a bit but didn't happen.

No doubt in my mind, PSU and USC deserved the 3rd and 4th seeds, while Washington & Ohio St should have been in the Rose Bowl.
