This comparison includes Nebraska if it were a member of the "O" division. Right now it would be a half game behind Michigan State and be tied in the loss column with Iowa. At the end of week 10 there are five bowl eligible teams from the "O" division; MSU, NE, IA, MI, and NW. The top three are ranked 13 or higher in the BCS poll.

The Big 12 "N" has Nebraska in first place, followed by Missouri with two conferences losses. There are three bowl eligible teams; NE, MO, and KSU. The BCS rankings are 8,17, and 24 respectively for the bowl eligibles. Only Iowa State has a chance to be bowl eligible.

The competition level for the Huskers (and for all division members) is going to be significantly different going forward. Add to that mix an annual game with Penn State and their schedule gets significantly more difficult.
