If memory serves, after the 20-10 loss to Iowa at Camp Randall last year Bret Bielema did not mention Iowa or give one bit of credit to his alma mater for dropping the defensive hammer and limiting his team to 58 total yards in the second half, while putting up 17 of its own to get the win. Instead, he chose to blame his team and uneven quarterback play.

In addition to getting the win, my hope is that Iowa is so dominant for 60 minutes Saturday he has no choice other than to acknowledge he lost to the better team.

Bert is a donkey. Take em apart Hawkeyes and the college football world will finally take notice

You know KF does the same thing. He will congratulate the other team on playing a fine game and then talk about how his team did not execute. It is KF's belief that every negative play is a result of failed execution. So I can't really fault BB for doing the same.

Ummmm. Making a comparison of Bert to Kirk?

Airhawk.....With all due respect, just a minor correction...

His name is BART Bulimia, not Bert.

Kinda makes you want to puke doesn't it? ;)

I think the point was that Burt Bacharach didn't have the class to do the first part a year ago.

This
Burl didnt mention the "other team" or "Iowa" in his post game comments.
Also....Keep him off the damn field this year!!!! Last time in Iowa City the BADger staff was all over the field.

Sounds a bit like the former Michigan State/LSU/Miami Dolphins head coach... Nick Saban. Always quick to point the finger. I like how Coach Ferentz always gives the other team their due.

He didn't give Iowa (or Shonn Greene) any credit either in 2008 when Iowa destroyed Wisky. He's also very defensive (insecure?) about the media, as was evident in last year's post-Champps Bowl interview. That's just Bielema--class is not his forte.
