Betting Line vs Nebraska?

How come the line went from -1 to -3 and then back down to -1.5?
We will be ranked possibly 3rd in CFP Poll.......my line would be -4.5.

If you think Iowa should be a -4.5 point favorite and they are currently at -1.5 then I sure as hell wouldn't be complaining about it. That is, if you're planning on wagering. If you're just mad because you don't feel like they are getting the respect they deserve then that's a different story. The game is in Lincoln and Nebby has shown a pulse in recent weeks. The line doesn't surprise me at all. With that said, I'll probably place a nice little wager on the Hawks to cover.

Lines aren't based on expected outcome, they are based on balancing the bet. Iowa is the better football team, but the perception is that they overrated and Nebby will win. I say let the morons throwing money away think that all day.
 
Nebraska is talented. They can beat anybody. Their QB , Rape House Tommy, is also kind of a moron. And their defensive backfield is like 4 Mabins. So they can lose to anybody.

It's almost impossible to analyze what might transpire in this game.
