I hope the recruiting is getting better for Iowa as the season is moving forward. It will be interesting to see who will round out the 2017 class as a list of big visitors were at the home game against Wisconsin. I know Iowa City West WR Oliver Martin was part of that group and could be solid if he was to commit. Nothing is official until they sign in February for National Signing Day.
Iowa needs more speed at the WR position as separation continues to be an issue along with needing a better vertical game instead of a horizontal game. Jerminic Smith and Jay Scheel need to develop quickly because they haven't shown much this year. Maybe see what Devonte Young and Adrian Falconer can do. The WR position is a non factor.

I've seen him play this year and he catches everything that comes his way whether the pass is good or bad. He's got surprising speed and has proved to be the best Iowa prospect for the Class of 2017 at his position.
