Best Strategy Today: Punt on 1st Down

Wow...just awful. I fully expected us to keep a tight end in or chip the edge rushers, so Stanley had time to throw, but nothing. Wisky just outcoached us on defense to a degree worse than we did to OSU last week.

That being said, damn...if ISM can't catch the ball, he can't be on the field. Those drops just kill you. Receivers need to make plays on balls that are anywhere near them. Everything is a critical play when you can't get momentum. Everyone dropped or didn't make a play when they could. You can't have that...and guys need to catch the damn ball.

Stanley looked anything but cool in the pocket...he got speeded up today...and he went back to the fast ball...and forgot to protect the ball.

Tough day.

We clearly cannot stop any blitz of any kind.
Nor can we adjust worth a damn after halftime.
Pick any random 7th grade FB Coach from anywhere in this country... that guy is better than what we've got leading this team.
I am so ready for a change at the top I can taste it...even though I might leave this earth before somebody other than a Ferentz is our Coach.
