Best of the Big 10 Week Four & Power Rankings





I have a couple of minor disagreements on the power rankings.

I would swap Wisconsin and Michigan State. Everybody is excited about MSU but all they've done is beat a bad Notre Dame team in OT on a trick play. I'm not overly impressed with their D.

Also I would definitely put Indiana ahead of Illinois. Indiana is a pretty dangerous team. They will score some points, their D is a big question mark, but still a much better team than Illinois, imo.

Indiana has beat up on some REALLY BAD teams. Akron and Western Kentucky are about as bad as you can get in FBS ball ... and they gave up 41 points alone in those 2 games. Indiana is good enough to likely NOT be in the cellar this year ... however, they're still not going to be much more than mediocre this year.
 


I'd also flip flop Illinois and Indiana as well. I'm higher on Indiana than I should be but I really think they are going to be at Michigan next week for some reason.
 


Who may turnover the ball the least and who has the ball last, might win that Indiana/Michigan game. I really want Michigan to stumble before they play us. Michigan has a very poor defense, but each week they win they are going to gain a little more confidence. Michigan will be looking to beat us for their first real signature win of the year. I wouldn't mind having a Michigan team questioning themselves a bit when we go up to the Big House.
