Beneventi looking around now....

Now that Drew Cook has committed, it will be even more interesting. Drew probably wont stay at QB but will see how it plays out.
 
Don't they have an offer out to Boyle, too? Sounds like too many QB's unless not all will be there. If that's the case then hopefully they are letting the recruits know. IMO rather not give up Beneventi for Cook and/or Boyle.
 
I really wish there was a place where we could talk about the kids who hadn't joined the team yet. Like the ones with scholarship offers or who are verbal commits. Man, that would be great if we had a place to talk about the recruits somewhere.
 
Our coaching staff are a bunch of idiots. I would jump off the Iowa ship if I was Beneventi...how stupid you don't need more QBs why we offered Boyle is a mystery and oh BTW Boyle has not accepted. Why offer then. Now a 4 star kid you promised is looking around. Nice job coaches. Biggest bunch of idiots I've seen in recent memory.

Is he "looking around" like when a quarterback drops back and scans the field during passing drills? Or is he "looking around" like a teenage kid staring at other teenagers while walking around the mall? Is he "looking around" like he lost his keys or something? How about "looking around" like looking with binoculars at his neighbors house?
 
I wondered where I had heard that name before, then it hit me. BENEVENTI: This is where you buy your Chevy! They are the biggest Chevrolet dealer in all of Granger, located just off Highway 141. That jingle was stuck in my head for years.

Look back in history of KF tenure and see how many high school quarterbacks played different positions at Iowa.........most HS quarterbacks are the best athlete and leader on the field...........make great safeties, corners, LB's, TE's, WR's..........c'mon man.

I don't get it. Its obvious that Ferentz is punishing the Iowa fanbase by not trying to win because he is upset about the way Lloyd Carr was treated by the Michigan fan base and administration. I was a little skeptical when I heard it at first, but when the pieces were put together in the correct contextual order the whole deal started to make perfect sense.
 
All I know is, Beneventi is looking around because we got a commit from Cook and offered Boyle...probably has nothing to do with landing a 4* QB in the class ahead of him who will undoubtedly redshirt and land right in Beneventi's class...

I still hope he comes to Iowa, but I don't blame the kid for having second thoughts at this time.
 
Even though he is going to take other visits He seems to still be committed as he was again at Jr. Day and was tweeting about the Paulsans.
