So, after the Indiana game where Brommer, Archie, Stubbs, and Stokes all played at some point with meaningful minutes, do you see Fran going back to that again tonight? If the team can get out in front quick, I see Fran doing the same thing to hold the lead and to get the starters some rest. I feel like that was key to the last game. Of course if we go down early, I don't see this happening.
Thoughts?

I think it's more dependent on whether Cartwright and May can go versus whether we have a lead or not.

If Cartwright can go--which I think won't happen--it gives us backcourt depth we need. If May goes, my guess is that Stubbs and/or Stokes won't see action. Archie and Brommer will see the court no matter what, IMO.

I don't see Iowa going that deep this game, unless there are the same type of foul issues...pace of the game will be slower as well considering it's Wisky so guys won't need as much of a blow.

I believe I heard this morning that Cartwright and May are both out and per the Monday night radio show, McCaffrey said if either or both could not go, he would use the full roster again. As others have pointed out, it may be out of necessity due to certain players and their affinity for fouling often in 2 minute bursts.

Sioux and Section136---prepare for Gabe "The Truth" Olaseni to impact the game tonight (positively for Iowa). I am calling my shot.

I am also calling my shot. Get ready for.....Stubbsanity baby!!!

I will be happy for Gabe if your prediction is correct. I just don't think it will be.

I don't believe Fran wants to play them like this at all but with McCabe in constant foul trouble and the others out, he has no choice. I believe Stokes could develop into a decent role player down the road. May has been disappointing anyway.

I don't think I've ever been in a situation where this is true!
