BC scouting report from a close observer

My son watches BC a lot as a grad school grad but really a huge hawk fan and Iowa alum. He says:

BC offense is run heavy, mostly power formations, Dillard is main RB fast and strong like Taylor from Wisky; QB Wade is erratic passer but decent runner; WRs not special sort of similar to Iowa, their former qb is a receiver who is dangerous on jet sweep and has speed to go deep, good TE named Sweeney, not great pass protection.

Defense is very aggressive and they will blitz (bad for Iowa). Very good Dline and DE Landry is great had 16 sacks last year but missed about 4 games this year, Landry is questionable but it is a long time until gametime, they force a lot of turnovers but can give up big plays

Not great kick return game, good punter, I quote bad-ish placekicker,

My son's prediction is BC will run ok but not the 250+ yards per game they have been the last month (remember the hawks Dee handled Wisky for most of that game), their passing game wont consistently move the chains, Iowa will probably have a lot of 3 and outs but Hawks get some big plays, Hawks 24 Eagles 20.

I will add from my discussion with my son that I expect it to be low scoring since both teams best units are their defenses. But if one or both teams do not tackle well and there are big runs the scoring could be higher.

All I can say is BF and KOK better have them ready to handle the blitz.

Great info! Thanks! I'll add that Dillon is 240 pounds, so not a small load, so tackling fundamentals and gap responsibility will be so important. It's really a strength of the defense.
