Battle 4 Atlantis - TV Coverage

This tournament was originally supposed to be shown on NBC Sports Network. Now there is NO TV coverage for the first game, and TBA for the next two games. What gives?!

I, along with a lot of Hawk fans, was very much looking forward to the Xavier game, now there is nothing. My post-nap Thanksgiving day was planned around this! Argh...
 
If you pull up the bball schedule from this site, the "TV" coverage against Xavier is no longer listed and it used to show NBC.
 
INTERESTING..... Maybe we will know for sure by Tuesday when the rankings are out and it has both IA and/or Xavier rank in the AP polls, then a major channel will buy rights to it like ESPN2, regular NBC, etc. Let's hope so I don't have to do a limited time upgrade on the satellite.
 
It's set to record on my television on NBC Sports. It's odd that it would be listed as their broadcast if they're showing some other random event out of the clear blue. Not worried at all.
 
My dvr is set for Iowa vs Xavier on the NBC Sports channel so I wouldn't get your feathers ruffled up guys, this has been scheduled for weeks. I don't see it changing.
 
Mediacom website (Des Moines area) shows a 6 PM basketball game on Thursday on the NBC Sport Network channel 827. I would guess it is the Hawk game.

I like the idea of the limited time upgrade to get the channel, then after the Thursday and Friday games on NBCSP, call and cancel. They will prorate the cost and maybe charge a $5 handling fee......

That is the same information I have for Mediacom, but it also says: HD, Live, Iowa vs. Xavier in a Battle 4 Atlantis quarterfinal on Paradise Island, Bahamas......

Followed by Tennessee vs. UTEP at 8:30.....

Semifinals Friday night at the same times, same channel.....

No worries, Lads.....
 
My small local cable provider shows Iowa vs Xavier on NBCsports channel at 6PM thanksgiving day. I play to be sittin in front of my tv with my pants unbuttoned and a plate of leftovers on my lap.
