Tonight's game reminded me of a football team going into prevent defense. Playing not to lose instead of playing to win. We got a nice big lead, got complacent, and went away from everything that got us the lead.
Part of me thinks that too. But part of me thinks the only way we got a lead at all was because Uthoff and Jok were lights out from the perimeter. Jacking up early perimeter shots isn't exactly a great idea either. Having them slowly come back late wasn't a big deal. They are a really good team so there's no shame in that. Extending the lead to 8 after they came back was very impressive and is something we hopefully see more of. Losing that 8 point lead like that was one of the ugliest collapses I've ever seen though. I really hope it doesn't change the course of the season but there is a good chance it will.
