Jackson Lamb - PF: 6-7, 190 lbs. Temperance (Bedford HS), MI

Lamb is a lean power forward, while staying about the same weight, he has grown two inches since the high school season has ended and he is still growing. Bedford is a Class A school in Michigan, the largest class.
Jackson is working to improve in all area of his game.

Hopefully Marble's kid is working the phones

I hope so, there are a lot of quality kids in the 2011/2012 classes that he has played against. The Detroit area has so many under recruited kids, but they also have such a bad reputation for academics and it is justified, hopefully all the scandals in their school systems can be done and the new school board can put a real focus back on academics.
I don't think he ever played against Lamb, unless in AAU, but that would be a reach, I think. Bedford and Lathrup are both Class A schools, but go completely different directions in postseason play.

remember the good ol days?

Marble - Detroit

Horton - Ohio?

Armstrong - Chicago

Hope Coach Mac can bring back the good ol days ....

that 87 team ..... god I can see that meltdown out West vs Tarks boys

LOL

Armstrong was from Detroit ....

sorry .... I am more focused on Kirk kicking *** on the recruiting front

Oh yeah, Marble was from Flint.

Strike three, you re out!!!

LOL...:D

Iowa has had some great players from Michigan and some very good ones too: Kenyon Murray (Battle Creek, same city as Trey McDonald), Mon'ter Glasper (Albion), Guy Rucker (Romulus) and Duez Henderson (River Rouge). I worked with someone that used to eat at a Cafe that Henderson worked and he said Duez was a great kid.

Why do I have a strange urge to go suck on a towel?

Some other prospects in the 2013 class that Iowa should look at:
Peter Jok
Akoy Agau
Quinten Payne (Cully's little bro)

Coach Fran has proven he isn't afraid to recruit anywhere, but look at his staff, they are well traveled from a lot of areas in the Country, that bodes well for Iowa's future.

Good God Doc. Even a blind squirrel can find a acorn once in awhile. You missed all three.
