Basabe's illness

It was some sort of relapse from his first illness at Penn State. He recovered from that, and McCaffery said Melsahn had a great practice on Thursday. But he came to the pre-game meal on Saturday out of sorts. He got worse, and had to get IV fluids during the first 8 minutes of the Wisconsin game. Fran put him in, Melsahn got totally lost on defense, and told the coach at halftime that he could not help the team.

Strange illness, hope it doesn't linger into this upcoming critical week of hoops for the Hawks. And I hope it doesn't spread around to other team members.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Basabe pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.
