This can't continue ... Barta has got to pull the plug at the end of the season. Up until about a month ago I was convinced Lick would be back for one more season but Barta can't let this go on any longer. You can't let the five die-hard fans and your own ego stand in the way of fixing a program that has become the laughing stock of the Big 10.
Just end this debacle Gary Barta ... Four freshmen added to the mix next season is not going to fix the now broken wheel that is Iowa basketball.
You have the five or so die-hards who will remain on the ship while Lick guides it toward the rocks but this chapter needs to be closed at the end of the season ... The state of the basketball has never been to this low of level ... Cut the losses and move forward ... You tried it. It didn't work and now it is time to move on ... Ignoring the problem and continuing to move forward with the same cast and crew is ignorant ... You can't put a band aid on a severed limb ...
