Listen hear you stubborn Dip Shit....it's your duty to get with the times and MAKE the Iowa city environment one that EVERYBODY will like. Not just the guys you feel the most comfortable with....we all know his type by now....Jiimmy Whitebread, the "Try hard" Solon Prep who's only offers are from Kirkwood and Mt Mercy's Soccer Club. When in doubt, go Black....something Ferments seems to avoid....especially the black players from large urban areas....you know, the kind that Dirk is afraid of, doesn't understand....and worst of all, does NOT want to understand!!!

One thing for sure. You like to insult to get your point across. Classy.
If you take a look at my posts, you will find very few insults. And, if you read the post I responded to and do not believe its a dumb post, then you and I will just have to disagree.

I'm not sure the OP understands what Ferentz is saying, if in fact Ferentz said it. He is talking about an overall work ethic he wants to instill in his players, including a very rigorous weight program. Players like King, Wadley and Daniels embraced it and became elite players. I really believe that is what he is talking about. If you don't believe me, listen to some of the recent comments made by the Nebraska coaching staff. They respect Iowa's toughness and work ethic and the intensity of their practices and strength training and want to emulate it. Some kids just don't want to work that hard. Isn't that really the difference between Iowa's program and many of the other programs in the Big Ten right now? I take the Ferentz statement as a positive, not a negative.
