I don't care how in the heck you try and slice it. On the road, I just don't care. That's a game Iowa should have won. Defense played ok. Not great but plenty good enough. (sounds familiar) That's an MSU team that might win 2 more games the rest of the way. Look at their schedule it's brutal. Losing to PSU at home like that was fine. Losing to that MSU team like that is bad. Felt like playing to the level of competition and just plain sloppy offense. I guess coming into the year the ups and downs of Stanley were to be expected. It's just frustrating that he's shown us some pretty darn good football. And at times out there today it felt like he was point shaving almost. (not really) He'll have better games going forward I'm sure. Not winning when you really feel like it was there to be had sucks
