B1G vs SEC

Fox Sports put this on twitter with the challenge being how many football games would each conference win if they were to play this fall? There are some good hypothetical matchups. Interesting.

The decision over whether to play football this fall also may come down to B1G vs SEC. The Big Ten presidents apparently want to cancel or suspend until spring; the SEC wants to play.

If the B1G doesn’t play this fall, there already are cries on teh Twitterverse for Ohio State to leave and join the SEC.

This could get interesting...

With all the Nebraska love and desperation to make them a national power again, I'm surprised they didn't draw LSU.

My oh my have the Arkansas Razorbacks fallen. I remember a Sports Illustrated cover from my youth in their Lou Holtz era when they were preseason #1. And they had a quarterback named Mike Calcagni who was considered the most exciting in college football.

Also, there are probably half a dozen NCAA teams who have a Lou Holtz era. Guy just couldn't stay in any one place for very long. Kind of like football's version of Larry Brown.

Notre Dame hasn't been relevant since Lou Holtz's tenure there IMO.

They ain't leaving the Big Ten. They own this conference. If anything, canceling football this year will give them a bigger advantage when it does resume.

And the SEC isn't playing football this year anyway.
