I think it's important for people to step back and recognize that what Paterno and Penn State did was and is both unforgivable and indefensible. There is no making it right. There is NO PUNISHMENT TOO SEVERE for Penn State. Any whining by those @$$holes about being treated too harshly should fall on completely deaf ears.

The trophy for a conference should never carry a name of an individual. That trophy will then always be identified with one or two institutions. Its a league-wide trophy.

This line of reasoning my lead to the State Farm B1G Campionship Trophy, or the Nabisco B1G Championship Game MVP Trophy. Maybe we should be careful what we wish for.
