B1G QB Rankings

If either one was top 4, then I guess there would have been no QB debate last year.

still its interesting that the guy who got beat out at Iowa is #9 and the guy who beat him out was #12. I guess what was obvious to many Iowa fans is not so obvious to the rest of the Big Ten.

also why is Notre Dame included in these rankings? Mich is really #8 and Iowa #11.

Notre Dame should be lumped in with the ACC, for a variety of reasons.

Or maybe KF was right all along to have been starting JR and it was wrong to make the move that he did..... Naw who am I kidding just yanking your chains. Just based off of CJ having 2 yrs more to play with nothing but really green freshmen behind him was reason enough to go that route. The fact he has more physical upside just made it that much easier of a decision. It's pretty easy to discredit a list like that Tommy Armstrong isn't nearly that good of a qb...

Jake's rank is inflated because outsiders look at him as a "two year starter for a Big 10 team," whereas they see CJ as a guy with no experience. Has nothing to do with actual ability.

These lists are so stoopid!! If these "writers" and "analysts" would just look at these boards, they'd see that CJB is the bestest, ever.

They'll learn tho.

Just watching the Pitt game last year made me think CJ was the better QB. I still believe Jake wouldn't of won that game for us last year.

The likely scenario will happen as follows: JR wins the job, Mich. wins 6 or 7 games, Harbaugh gets JR to push the ball down the field more. Which leads to a FA agent invite and idiotic comparisons to Brady. The FA experience probably last as long as JVB did and he is off in the real world with the rest of us.

I don't think JR wins the job. He might have the lead right now because he is 3 or 4 yrs older than most of his competitors, but talent is talent. The young kids on Mich's roster will practice hard all fall and by the time the season starts, they will be much improved. Jake hit his ceiling two years ago.

It's easy to be ranked low when you've got a unproven player. Granted, we've seen glimpses of what CJ Beathard can do and it's exciting.. but the fcat that we're not a nationally favored team year in, and year out shows.
