B1G morning games Michigan v. Wisconsin on FOX, MSU v. Northwestern on ABC

The B1G will be broadcast on Fox and ABC this morning with three future Hawk opponents between Michigan, Wisconsin, and Northwestern. Other B1G morning games are Indiana v. UCONN and Rutgers v. Boston College.

The Wisconsin v Michigan game on FOX is getting a long preview on the pregame shows and this is a real show me something game for Harbaugh to see if he is making any progress towards getting over the hump at Michigan, and the Hawks play the Wolverines in a couple weeks. Michigan hasn't looked impressive so far this season, and Wisconsin is about as consistent in the early games as the seem to be every season. Either way its a consequential game with power football and hard physical defense and maybe Michigan changes quarterbacks if they struggle.

Wisconsin just doing their I-Formation offense on the first series, Michigan might stop one or two plays but then the Badgers just get a big play after that and score a touchdown from short yardage to take the lead on the first series.

As an aside, holy F is Iowa State terrible again this morning.

I am watching the game with my tv on mute while i do other stuff, but this is usually where the announcers say something like "If this run play gets three yards in the first quarter, it will probably get five yards in the third or fourth quarter". Anyway, Michigan defenders running into the wrong gaps, play action passing from a confident quarterback, and just enough speed and power from the young running back from wisconsin.

There's a reason I picked Michigan in the pool for their last game. I knew Wisky was going to blow them out. I'm not sure how long our D-line will last against their unlimited hosses.

Watch out, Michigan with their best play of the year to open the game!

Fumbles on goal-to-go situations are just bad ju-ju, its the kind of thing bad teams do and Michigan had fumbles in their game against Army that kept the game close.
