B1G Injury News - Northwestern's Larkin Retires

Kid has cervical stenosis and is done with football. NU's #2 and #3 RBs have 21 and 13 yards on the season respectively. Larkin was also second in receptions. Bad news for the Cats. Gonna be tough to even get 5 wins without Larkin.

I hope the kid will be OK. I hate it when a young man has put so much into being a big time college football player and then an injury ends his playing days. Sad.

Hate that for him. It was already a huge drop off from last year and Justin Jackson moving on. Now this. The Cats will really be hurting on the offensive end with Thorson coming off an ACL and now Larkin out for good.

Horrible news. Saw him play at Camp Randall last year, backing up Jackson. It was his ball to tote this year. Maybe he will end up getting into coaching, although a degree from Evanston should give him other opportunities too.
