B1G Champ game....who's in?

On a hunch, I booked motel rooms and pulled the trigger on two decent seats for the 12/5/15 game.

Tix aren't cheap....$250/ea, but I'm not going to go through all the effort to sit in the bleeders.

Staying in Crawfordsville the night before and after....an hour to Lucas from there.

Anyone else in?


(P.s. I went to the 2013 B1G BB tourney event and had a blast...this should rival it!)
 
As I said....via StubHub, you're going to pay a premium. I like to get tickets early, and NO bleeders. Silly to drive hours and hours to save a few buxx to sit in crappy seats. You only live once. Go Hawks.
 
do you get your money back if Iowa fails to make the game? I know the odds look good now but all it takes is 2 losses by Iowa to change things.
 
Been every year to the event it is a fun event. Downtown Indy is small and easy to walk, with good bars, restaurants, and hotels. You should find a hotel downtown not that expensive, and you will enjoy the event much more. Nothing to do in Crawfordsville for sure.

I always wanted to go to the event....so, no, I won't be squawking (pun intended) if Iowa doesn't make it.

Absolutely worth it....worst case scenario, you lose 20 to 40 bucks selling your tix to someone else.

B1G champ game is on my bucket list for sure.

Another thing I've done is taken my kids to one Hawk away game most every year since 2004. We've gone to Illinois, NU, Minney, PSU, Michigan, Purdue and we hit Madison this year.

I use the same formula....spend a lot less than I could on motels (you only sleep there right?) in order to spend a lot more on tickets....seems to be a winning formula for me. Also worked for the six bowl games I've gone to.

Dear Greg Davis, just remember this is not Vince Young at Iowa. we'll need to have a game plan that goes beyond, drop back and run.
