B1G and Pac 12 to play interleague football games?

absolutely great idea. i understand the need to schedule cupcakes, but i really hate it. my only concern is how terrible we do when we go out west, and it won't benefit our recruiting.

I really think it should be done the first game of the season to allow the team to prepare earlier for the game so they can leave earlier as they would in a bowl game.

Anyway, I like the idea. I would guess other conferences will follow suit just like they did in baskeball after the Big 10 and ACC started doing their annual matchup.

This. I absolutely love the idea. Not only does it give us a chance to spice up the home schedule every other year, but it allows us an opportunity to get into California for recruiting.

Although I agree with you on playing the first game of the year for the preparation, it would be fun to see USC play at Minnesota or Arizona State at Wisconsin in late November or early December as opposed to August/September. :)
