Looks like Indy's contract is up and the B1G will have to decide on a site. I think maybe they should go to the format the BigXII has by playing the Mens and Womens in the same week, same city with different venues. I think this would draw more fans to both events.

Indianapolis and Chicago are the only two sites that make sense, IMO. They're both pretty central locations in the conference, and both have professional facilities available. Indianapolis is best if they want to keep both tournaments and football title game in the same city. Chicago wouldn't work well for football, at least not as well as Lucas Oil.

Could do that in Chicago with men's tourney at the United Center (21,000 ... NBA/NHL)
and the women at either Allstate Arena in Rosemont (17,500 ... DePaul/WNBA/AHL/AFL) or the UIC Pavilion (7,000 ... only blocks from the United Center)

BTW, the article mentions Chicago being more expensive ... I just spend 5 days on vacation in Chicago and it wasn't that expensive, IMO
