I am hopeful that someone will push him on this question and bring up the problems the prior two coaches had with early recruiting.
We don't need any more questions about style of play, or why he came to Iowa, etc.
Those have been answered. Get some questions out there that directly address the types of assistants that are successful at the major conference level and the difference between those guys and mid-major assistants.
If I hear set-ups like the one where little Lick said, "Dad, it's Iowa." I will puke. No softballs. Push the hard questions. Don't let him answer the recruiting question with, "We are going to go out and build relationships, etc." You need to ask him point blank if he is going to hire a proven Big Ten recruiter as an assistant.
