Some interesting matchups this week

Indiana @ MSU Is MSU who they were last week, or does something funky happen in East Lansing and IU go down to their first loss
<insert Rocky Lombardi joke here>

Penn State @ Nebraska Can they both lose? This one looks interesting, I could see the fuskers winning it. (hope not)

Purdue @ Northwestern Only COVID-19 could deliver an even smaller crowd in Evanston. This one gives us a clear leader in the West, could knock the other out of contention.

Iowa @ Minnesota A couple of 1-2 teams, neither one can afford to go 1-3. Who's season will be in the shitter when they wake up Saturday morning?

Wisconsin @ MIchigan 2 sick programs who haven't played for a few weeks...one literally, one metaphorically. Who knows which on Saturday?

Illinois @ Rutgers Who cares?

tOSU @ Maryland Terp fans will sound like clone fans...."We would have beat 'em for sure!!!"

Thanks, Drummer. I could see this week as being pivotal for a few teams. Now that we're about half way through the season, I'll have to look up each of the leading teams remaining schedules to see the possibilities going forward. We're starting to get a better look at what each teams capable of.

Penn State - Nebraska is really interesting. Honestly...I think Nebraska wins. I'll give Nebraska credit...they have played better in their two losses than I thought they would. That being said...Frost had two weeks to prepare for NW...and NW had just come off a physical game with Iowa. That's a huge advantage.

Penn State's defense has been terrible...and their QB looks like he's taken a step backward.

Northwestern feels a lot like Iowa St. where you just roll your eyes....gut feeling telling you they will end up in the conference championship game.

If Nebraska loses there's no way Frost survives it. Either he loses the team or the fans. It's a must win for Frost. So either Penn St. loses their mojo or Frost gets run out of town like the Music Man. I can smell the tar from Lincoln.

It's going to be increasingly tough to get a good hire in Lincoln.

This. For that reason, Frost is not going anywhere. He is also a favorite son and they are going to give him a longer leash than probably anyone else. And as Drummer says, who are they going to get if they fire Frost? FWIW, they have had a pretty tough schedule so far but I thought, from what I have seen, that they are improved this year. No one roots harder for them to lose but they may be making at least some small strides.

I would normally say that's a bit of an overreaction but man I dunno... It feels like between those two programs and Michigan there's going to be some major turnover going on. It's just a crazy time.

Hayden, you introduced me to Nebraska hate before it was fashionable...a man ahead of your time. I guess that comes from growing up in Western Iowa.
