Are YOU a fair weather fan?

I personally, have been out in public with a Iowa Hawkeye shirt on today, in Nebraska, and have taken crap about it. How about you? Do you hide, the next day/week? I know it would be way easier in Iowa.

No. I have worn Iowa shirts every day for my whole life. It is 80-90 percent of my wardrobe. Obviously I cannot wear them to work, but I proudly display it everywhere I can at work too. Everyone knows it, and I usually get texts, FB messages, people coming up to me and trying to cleverly rub it in. I take it in stride and move on. It is fun, but there is always that one ISU fan who just tries so hard to stick it to ya...

I'm not a fair weather fan...but I am realistic...I love the Hawks...but I don't see this current team winning more than 10 games at best...But I will be there trying to support them every freakin minute until the last game is done.

Not winning more than ten games? I'll take it. Anyone else want to take ten wins and run???

Last night's "game" was like the Northwestern State "game" a few years ago. I will not wear Iowa gear in public until 2011 at the earliest. I will be ridculed at work tomorrow. The emails and texts are too much to handle right now. It feels like that gut punch when we lost to the Clowns in 2005 when we were supposed to be good. I dusted off my shirt a few weeks later and went to the bar to watch the game against OSU. This is shaping up to be one of those years.

Well, that's the best we could do, just 10 wins. I know it's not much, but I'll still stay loyal and cheer them on. That's one helluva standard.

Was out in my Iowa gear this morning to the store and saw several others in Iowa also.

So if you wear Iowa gear, but bash on them to a point of insanity, can you still remain outside the realm of "fairweather".......just asking.

No fair weather fan here. Of course when you've been in Iowa City for 25 years and affiliated with the university for that long, there's no running and hiding. Still have the flag flying outside this morning.

Took me a while to get over being mad but today is another day and the sun will come up tomorrow so it's time to start thinking about the next game.

Not a chance here. The Rose Bowl is still on the table, and it's still a serious possibility for us. I won't be wearing an Iowa shirt today (didn't pack an extra one for my weekend at home), but I'm still proud as hell to be a Hawkeye!

No fair weather fan here. I too will be wearing my Iowa gear today while showing my permanent Tigerhawk tat.

Well I mean every other thread I look at...people saying "11-1 is still what this team is going to achieve" I appreciate the unbridled enthusiasm...BUT this team will be lucky to win 10 games unless they figure out what's wrong with the O-line...I'm thinking 9-3 or 8-4 realistically.
I pray I am wrong though...11-1 would be fantastic!!!

I've not seen anyone necessarily saying that 11-1 is going to happen. But it's certainly still on the table, and not as unrealistic as some are making it out to be. But I think the special teams (at least the coverage units) will be shored up next week. The coverage teams looked good in the second half. A big part of the O-Line's struggles were because of the heavy blitzing, and not so much just getting pressure from the front 4 (that didn't really happen until the unit was just absolutely gassed).
