It seems like everyone else besides Hawk fans are praising us and we are surprising a lot of people. This whole " We lost at home to a MAC team is unacceptable" is a load of crap. NIU could beat 1/2 of the B1G and should finish 12-0 this year, we seem to forget even though they got blasted this team played in an Orange Bowl last year for christ's sake. I haven't seen a FIRE GD thread for a little while and every week this offense improves drastically and we have been winning impressively. Mike Myer IMO is the best kicker in the B1G, and Cornbrath is pinning teams in the shadow of their goal line. KMM punt returns have been awesome! While kickoff coverage has been terrible special teams have been stout and great. Front 7 has been stellar and while the secondary has been "fraudulent" in my opinion they are slowly getting better with Lowry providing a highlight reel so far and King who as a true freshman has been beat on at times hasn't been hardly ever mentioned. Our safeties also. Call me optimistic but this team is good and I don't see a reason why we won't be in the mix in our division. If we fix the minor things this team will surprise a lot of people and I think a January bowl is very possible. We will find out our true identity against MSU but overall this team has been consistent with improvement every week. End rant, Im just a college kid on adderall so sorry if this is long and doesn't make sense.
