Lot of speculation whether he would survive the Rice scandal. Apparently not. Now the question might be whether the president is able to keep his job.

Let the record reflect that I called this immediately after I first saw the video.

The university president is next.

I expect that the university legal counsel who didn't recommend firing will also take some heat, though perhaps not as publicly as others.

Anyone read is public statement? He tried to fire the coach but the president and general counsel said no. The AD in my opinion is getting backlash for trying to do the right thing. This isn't child molestation and PSU and a cover-up but it still is offensive but the AD isn't the bad guy.

Color me a bit dum here, but what's the difference for some of these people who are being fired and those that are resigning? I know a resignation looks better to future employers (as long as they don't have google), but is there a compensation difference to it ad well? Or are some involved just resigning before the ax actually drops?

Pernetti made it clear he is feeling like he is being scapegoated, after wanting to do the right thing in the first place.

I think he is a good guy,and got caught following orders and then left holding the bag. Gonna get nasty at RU....nobody happy.

If the AD actually tried to fire the coach but Prez said no then Pernetti will prob be next one to sue the school.
