Envious. The weather alone makes the trip worthwhile.

I attended an Outback Bowl and the second Orange Bowl - the bowl trips are great, win or lose!!!

Hope you bring home a winner - maybe the Hawks will surprise us!!!

Wish I could have gone but now that there is a little one on the way frivolous spending is in the rear view. Still, I had a blast last year driving down to Tucson for a regular season game. I'm sure going to a bowl would be off the charts. Have fun!

We are also in Scottsdale. Went to Rusty Spur last night for a while. Quiet. Went to R&R l later . Had hawk stuff out but no fans. Weather is perfect.

Flight prices were outrageous. Over $500 roundtrip.
Cheapest I eventually found was $400 and that was flying into Vegas.

The season was a disappointment, so I don't blame families saving $xxxx.xx amount of money. I went to every home and road game this year and it kills me I won't be there. I wasn't going to spend $800 for the Insight Bowl though.

Get in tomorrow....4 of us. $625 for flight and hotel in Scottsdale coming back Sunday night...pretty cheap trip. Go Hawks!

if your in scottsdale check out kinnicks i think it on shea we watched a game there last year. Hawkeye bar and grill that makes you feel at home.

Got in today and went to the dueling pianos at The Big Bang in Tempe. Great time as there were around 100 other Hawkeye fans there. Ironically the people at the table next to us were from our part of the state and our waitress was from a neigboring town of my hometown.

Yep. Landed this evening. A smattering of hawks in the Omaha airport this afternoon. Saw fans getting luggage from flights arrIving from KC, Denver, Dallas while we were getting ours
