I would rather put my wiener in a sausage grinder than watch soccer or the "I run around a circle, swim laps in a pool, kick balls into nets". Olympics are for the mentally challenged. USA...USA...USA

NBA players are the finest athletes on the face of the Earth. The best the NBA has to offer are at the Olympics. Olympic soccer players from Europe & South America are their top athletes. USA's women's gymnastic team are the best female athletes in the country, maybe the world.
Their physical ability and mental toughness are off the charts.

I'm convinced that anyone who likes soccer is a) from a 3rd world country. b)is a 10 year old girl c) enjoys other action packed sports like snail racing d) cant accept that someone might not like the sports they like so they call them names like "obese"

I am convinced that all you guys are really in 5th grade and have inferiority complexes so you have to make fun of those that don't like the same things you do.

Actually, I am a soccer fan and Olympic soccer kinda sucks.
The under 23 age rule just means you don't get the best players. Also, many pro teams don't release their players.
It would be like the US using all college players and them allowing 3 guys like Jason Terry, Shane Battier, and Marcus Canby fill out the roster.
Just watch how many bad touches you see.
It is soccer, so I'll watch, but it isn't particularly good soccer.
Now, of course, none of this applies to the women. They don't have the same roster limitations.
