Anyone else thinking give Dailey a shot at Point?

2 B1G games down and to my suprise I felt like Dailey was the most composed ball handler. Seems to have some quickness and athletic ability. I'm feeling like he should get a start at PG.

I'm hoping to see a Dailey, Jbo, Ellingson, Pemsel, Cook lineup. Nunge and Garza will both be good players for us, but right now this team needs a calming factor. The poor freshman are in there floating in space with bewilderment. Much easier to plug freshman in when you have upperclassmen and leadership to balance them out. I feel like going to an experienced lineup might be the best play. Work the freshman in when we have established a flow of the game.

Well, I find it hard to believe they could be any worse if they tried that. I'd much rather see Jordan at the 2. Dailey is also longer and faster which should make him better on defense in theory.

I think I'm in the minority, but I actually like what I've seen from Nunge.

I like what I have seen from Nunge offensively. Other than a few good contested shots in the paint I have been appalled at his understanding his responsibility in the zone. He seems to play defense like a Center. He just sucks into the paint when the defense is setting out of transition. He doesn't have enough burst or predictive awareness yet to recover to the wings or corners. He needs to play as the 5 on defense. His best defensive ability right now seems to be protecting the rim.

Yeah, I like Dailey so far. To me he's an upgrade offensively from Williams, in terms of ball handling, shooting, and penetration. I haven't noticed how well he is on the other end of the floor. The line up with he and Ellingson oddly, seemed the most fluid.

You done seen the same that my eyes saw'd!

In the words of Keyshawn Johnson, "Give me the damn ball", says Dailey

Give him a shot Fran, he (and we) might be surprised

I don’t mind the idea of Dailey but I don’t like the rest of the OPs lineup.

JBo and Ellingson would be a bad defensive combo at the 2/3 and Cook and Pemsl would clog the lane.

I wouldn’t mind seeing Dailey, Baer Nunge and Cook with either Moss or JBo at the 2.

The 5 minutes he played pg at the beginning of the half vs Indiana was the best pg play I have seen from this team all year.

Worth a shot but sure wish Fran gave him more looks at point in the summer and in the exhibition
