Of "Championship" Saturday? Oklahoma/Oklahoma St. in the so called "Bedlam" game was uninteresting and I can't get into the Big 12 for the life of me. In Alabama/Florida the score is still close but it looks like Alabama is well on its way to crushing Florida (Florida's O can't move the ball). Wisconsin/PSU tonight is meaningless because Washington already won, VA Tech probably won't beat Clemson, and the B1G Championship is basically a consolation prize for the Rose Bowl.

The CFP was a nice idea, but it makes Championship Saturday pretty meaningless when you predetermine who will be in it (a la Ohio State)

Those are very good points. I watched some of OSU-OU earlier taking a break from chores. I had not really seen much of either team this year and I find it interesting to watch these other coaches and players. OU really has a couple top running backs but OSU also looked to be out of position on defense and not the most physical team. Okie St was not very physical when I saw them play at Iowa St when they lost as a highly ranked team. Another factor in the Big 12 not playing tough defense.

Not watching much of SEC game but I did just see the blocked punt and extra point block and return. I also heard them say bama doesnt have a first down yet. Could it be a really good defense could beat them in the playoffs this year?

I am going to watch the Big 10 game and hope Wisky wins.

If it makes you feel better, the final 4 teams are not locked in yet.

Clemson still has to play VT in the ACC CCG tonight. if Clemson loses, Clemson is out and probably the Wisc/PSU winner is in.

Also am I the only one thinks Ohio ST is still guarunteed anything.

If PSU wins in a blowout, how can the committee put Ohio St in and leave PSU out of the playoffs? PSU beat OSU H2H, and PSU would be the BigTen champs.

Human decency would have PSU in the Playoffs over OSU, but it's College Football we're talking about. OSU's "brand" has its foot on the throat of the Committee. In essence, OSU is de facto in the College Football Playoffs every year until it gives the Committee a reason not to have it there. And this year, the Committee doesn't have enough to justify not putting them in. It's twisted, I know.

If OSU was going to get screwed, then why did they get all the obviously rigged calls last week? OSU is in NO MATTER WHAT!!!!

Playing in the B1G champ last year seems to make this year feel pointless. That makes me sad.
But that's just the point and what college football has turned into. If you aren't in the final 4 talk or your conference championship game, then your season is pointless. Well, according to media outlets like ESPN.

Correction: if you're not a blueblood then you don't matter to the national media. I didn't even know that Colorado was a top 10 team until like a week ago.

I really hope that fans from teams who aren't the bluebloods who have Nielsen ratings stop watching shows like College Game Day on ESPN. Would love to see their ratings tank. I have really grown to despise College Game Day.

I'm rooting for the badgers only because they are from the west. The playoff thing has lost it's luster for me. It's turned out to be a bama ohio st. bowl. That's all anybody in the committee cares about.

I've been saying for 20 years that it should be an 8 team playoff....and put it in the new contract that it will NEVER be expanded to greater than 8 to appease those who always say, "What next 16...then 32???"....nope, cap it at 8 and be done with it forever. That way you don't have refs feeling pressure to flat out prostitute themselves like they did in Columbus last Saturday.

The one thing that always made cfb the greatest sport was the fact that every game mattered. That is no longer the case. If you are Ohio St. or Michigan you can lose to an unranked team and still be top 5. The playoff will ruin the game. The conference championship means nothing.

Good choice. Favorite character/House? Predictions for the ending?

Favorite characters are the Red Viper, Khal Drogo, Bronn, & Tormund. I really enjoyed the Podrick, Bronn, Tyrion crew back a few seasons ago.

Daenerys with dragons & army seem like the smart bet but that's too easy. I'm thinking a bastard will end up on the Iron Throne. Jon Snow or Tyrion (dwarf = bastard and I think his father may not be Tywin anyway).

I think at least one of the dragons becomes a "white walker". Tyrion is awesome...love that character.

The prophecy Cercei had as a child has come true with everything so far so that means a younger, prettier queen will take over. Daenerys will win in the end.
