Anybody watching the HS championship games today?

This is the first time since 2006 that Armstrong-Ringstead has not been in the 8 man title game. They had a good run.

All the games I want to see are on tomorrow though, so I guess there will be a lot on the DVR.

Spirit Lake v. IC Regina (I like what Marv is doing at Regina)

CB, St Albert v. St Ansgar (St Albert beat us in the championship game in 2004 and I always respect anyone who knocks A-P out of the playoffs)

Union, La Porte v. Decorah (Union beat Decorah earlier in the season, so the rematch should be good. Decorah is a an old rival of my alma mater, but I have always respected them)
 
Lisbon vs Britt/West Hancock should be very good in Class A today. Also looking forward to the Bettendorf vs Valley Des Moines game tonight. (very impressed with Bettendorf's defense)

Regina vs Spirit Lake could turn out to be the best championship game of all classes.

Yeah, I'll watch the Lisbon vs BWH game. I might switch back and forth between the Bettendorf/WDSMV game and the OSU/ISU game. That could get ugly real quick.

I agree that Regina vs Spirit Lake could be the best game, but don't sleep on the Union/Decorah game.
 
8 man game is 61-0 at the HALF! One back has almost 400 yards and another has over 200. That is some video game stuff there. Never seen an 8 man game, looks crazy.

There are a lot of good match ups. I don't have a dog in the fight but I'm really looking forward to the Bett/Valley match up as well.

The Bett Defense is the real deal and it will be fun to watch them go against the Valley running attack. I would expect a low scoring Defensive battle between the 2 teams with a very slight edge to Valley. Just my prediction.
 
Does anyone know if the games are on direct tv and if so what channel? I tried to look it up and hell I can't find it.

Ok, yeah, 9.2 shows local sports too. I just figured that was regular season and PO games (Fox doesn't show those). Don't know why Fox wouldn't have exclusive access to the title games, but that just adds more choices I guess.
