Any Verbals coming out of Big Junior weekend?

No verbals yet, but it sounds like the staff used the Weekend to extend some offers:

It looks like 4* DT Juan Harris re committed to Iowa this weekend. Sounds like he only de committed because of a family disagreement.

Very unlikely he remains committed.

Asked Harris: So can u say you're done w/ recruiting & can stay committed to being a Hawkeye? His response: "Great question but no comment."

Agreed, I'm not counting on this one being a smooth ride. I mean why is a 2017 kid commiting anyway? I thinks he probably likes the attention, not that I can blame him.

Jesus, can they just leave that Harris kid alone? It's ridiculous that a 15 year old has to deal with that kind of crap.

I agree, but sometimes these kids put it on themselves first.....they just need to keep their damn mouths shut, especially when it involves family....we really don't need to know the reason why......keep things a private matter and move on....

And I don't agree. He is being offered a Full scholarship to the
best Football program in America, (My humble opinion).
Even at 15, kids should know the meaning of COMMITMENT.

Go Hawks

Seems like Wisconsin's MO hasn't changed much. Iowa offers, so a Wisconsin offer isn't far behind......Cole Van Lanen got an offer from Iowa after at their JR. day, and the next day he gets a Wisconsin offer...now they are offering Stanley, and Ben Brendeson (everyone is offering him though).

To be honest with you, this has more to do with the coaching and system change, no?

Though I think Wisco is taking 2 QBs in '15 if they were able to keep that Kafentzis kid because they also just offered Pitt's commited QB in 2015. Think he flipped to boot.

Agree.........Gary Andersen offered the fewest in-state offers in many years while at WI. He was more national in his quest for players. I don't know about a single position (QB) but one would suspect Paul Chryst will look harder overall at the in-state candidates since that is his stomping grounds of many years and he will leverage that. You can see the pick up in their in-state efforts just since Chryst has come aboard.
