I would really like to see that spot go to another former Hawkeye like Murray or Horner.

Has there been any announcement by Fran as to when he plans to hire a new video coordinator?
 
Very doubtful Murray or Horner would be interested in the Video Coordinator position. From what I understand, the pay is not great, plus the interaction with the team on the court is pretty limited. Bowen did it because he loves the Hawks and is already set for life with his NBA money.
 
Probably a better gig for a graduate assitant, but I would love to see Jarryd Cole get a gig with the Hawks. He is probably making more $ playing in Iceland, so maybe not a good fit.
 
I think you're going to be pretty disappointed if you're expecting a high-profile hire for video coordinator. Most likely it will be a very nerdy young guy who is interested in statistics. The Bowen situation was pretty unique in terms of just wanting to give him an opportunity to be involved with the program. Most teams don't handle the position in that way.
 
with the money Lester has he might take the job to get reconnected to the program
its a pipe dream I know its a great dream none the less
what's Brunner doing these days?
 
I do not think there is an immediate need to fill this position, I understood this position a way to get Bowen involved.
