Scottyd................I recommend that you don't go, if it is your first.

Why? Because you will HAVE to be there every year for every Iowa bowl, if you go just once, as a HAWKEYE FAN. It's too much of a good time to EVER miss.

Not a first timer but I haven't been to a bowl game since 2006, so I am itching to get back.

I finally have money and a job that allows me to travel to the games- so I plan on making it an annual thing - especially since Florida is not to far - those trips will be easy to make.

My first trip was Orange Bowl in 2003. Even though we got beat down by USC, my wife and I were hooked. Haven't missed a bowl game since. Taking my family of 5 down to Miami this year.

First trip was the 2002 year Orange Bowl, and have been to every one since...it's a great life!!!
