Anthony Pierson Opens it Up

How do Hawkeye recruiting junkies feel about Anthony Pierson. He just decommitted from Missouri, and Iowa had an offer out to him. Was Iowa hard after him before the committment, and do you think with Darian Miller out that Iowa will pursue Pierson again?

On Rivals it says "No interest" in Iowa and why do you say Darian Miller is out?

Missouri posters on the rivals main board have said that Iowa is definitely going to be a player now that he opened it back up.

If Miller is off the board, I really hope we pull Coe and Pierson...Pierson looks like he is extremely fast and would be a good change of pace back to complement Coe.

We already have Gordon...but I'm not sure how fast he actually is (whether or not he has breakaway speed at the D1 level)....I'm sure we'd hit on one of the 3. :D

The one thing Iowa has lacked since Greene left is a home run back.

Greene was not a home run back because of his speed. He did it by breaking tackles in the second level. As long as we have a back with above average speed and the leg strength to run through tackles that will work too.
