Another spread offense bites the dust

Muschamp, who agreed to a five-year contract worth $13.5 million to replace Urban Meyer, was formally introduced as Florida's new coach Tuesday. He took center stage for a 40-minute news conference filled with confidence, enthusiasm and witty one-liners. Muschamp says he plans to hire his staff after the Outback Bowl and intends to install a pro-style offense, welcome news for Florida fans who groaned about the spread all season.

Maybe--just maybe!--he'll hire KOK as his O-Coord.?? :p

Funny how they weren't complaining about the spread when they had The Second Coming.

Wouldn't it be Meyer's fault that they didn't have a QB who could run the offense?

Sure should be...I know they thought highly of Brantley, but I honestly don't know how they missed (their perception of his ability to succeed in that offense) by that much. Unfortunately for him, Tebow is the perfect QB for that offense and there aren't too many of those guys to go around.
