St. Louis: Sam Bradford QB Oklahoma Peyton Manning off the field, Alex Smith on it.
Detroit: Ndamkong Suh DT Nebraska Safest pick in the draft and a great fit for this D.
Tampa Bay: Gerald McCoy DT Oklahoma Another great scheme fit and perfect match for the team drafting him.
Washington: Russel Okung LT I have heard the late buzz that they want Berry, but you don't trade for McNabb and not protect him.
Kansas City: Eric Berry S Tennessee Too talented to fall any farther. May not go to KC, I think Philly will trade here to take him with an exchange of picks.
Seattle: Derrick Morgan DE Georgia Tech Size and athleticism to play either end in a 4-3. Good motor and athleticism and can help bad secondary with pass rush ability.
Cleveland: Jimmy Clausen QB Notre Dame Most polished and NFL ready QB in years, Holmgren has to think he looks like Hasselback on film. Cleveland could trade down and still get him.
Oakland: Trent Williams OT Oklahoma Athletic enough to play left tackle eventually but can be a day one starter at right tackle. Very physical run blocker. Meets the size/speed requirements
Buffalo: Bryan Bulaga OT Iowa Another physical run blocker who has the feet to play left tackle. Still growing. Another team who may be looking to aquire picks.
Jacksonville: Joe Haden CB Florida A team who has a need here and has to keep an eye on the bottom line. Fans know him. He is a quality player. Fits the scheme. Another team in need of more picks.
Denver: Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma State A natural replacement for Brandon Marshall with some of the same issues. Could pass on him for McClain or Dan Williams here.
Miami: Dan Williams DT Tennessee A natural Nose for a 3-4 defense. 1 year wonder. Fills a need with Ferguson suspended. Miami needs a 2nd round pick could trade down.
San Francisco: Earl Thomas S Texas Flexible player can play Safety or Corner for a team that needs both. Coveted by several teams. May not last this far.
Seattle: Taylor Mays S USC I can't see him as a FS in the NFL. I watched him in the combine but I don't see him recovering from a false step. Carrol surely knows him better than me though. Could see another USC product Ot Brown or Rb Spiller here
Giants: Rolando McClain MLB Alabama Smart, leader, and a 10 year starter for this team. Perfect match of value and need.
Tennessee: Jason Peirre- Paul DE South Florida Next Kearse? Certainly is a freakish athlete but will it translate? Jared Clauss once told me their position coach was the best in the NFL so it would be a great pick if he lasts.
San Franciso: Anthony Davis OT Rutgers A talented lineman who sometimes needs motivation goes to a franchise with possibly the best motivator for a head coach.
Pittsburgh: Mike Iupati OL Idaho Again Value and need. Can fill multiple spots and plug in right away.
Atlanta: Kyle Wilson CB Boise Day 1 Starter and fills a need, best postseason of any corner.
Houston C. J. Spiller RB Clemson Probably won't last this long. Doesn't really complement Slaton but would be too much value to pass on at a position of need.
Cincinnati: Maurkice Pouncey C/G Florida Can play any interior position. Day 1 starter. Another value pick.
New England: Jared Odrick DE/DT Penn State Ideal 5 technique end for the Pats. Great scheme fit and he can rush the passer for them on 3rd downs if the go 4 d-lineman.
Green Bay: Charles Brown OT USC Provides instant depth at either tackle spot for the Pack and can grow into the Left tackle role for them. Undoubtedly will see action.
Philadelphia: Brandon Graham DE Michigan Ideal athletic end that can rush passer and drop into coverage for Philly's zone blitz schemes.
Baltimore: Jermaine Gresham TE Oklahoma Value and fills a need. Can replace always injured Todd Heap. 10 year weapon for Joe Flacco.
Arizona: Bruce Campbell OT Maryland Bookend to Levi Brown and athletic enough to play left tackle if Leinart fails. Grimm is good enough to coach him up.
Dallas: Sean Weatherspoon LB Missouri Even if an OT is left Dallas isn't drafting one. Can play multiple spots in a 3-4. Can replace Keith Brooking eventually.
San Diego: Jon Dwyer RB Georgia Tech Not the sexy pick here but I liked what I saw prepping for the Orange Bowl. Michael Turner v 2.0
Jets: Terrance Cody DT Alabama Kris Jenkins v 2.0 and Rex was also on the staff that drafted Haloti Ngata. This just makes too much sense not too happen.
Minnesota: Amari Spievey CB Iowa I know I will get killed for this. Last year I said Fletcher would get taken in the third round. I have proof, look it up on rankamateurs. I Think he is the most physical corner in the draft. Minny is drafting purely for need. They are setting up their roster to win now. He fits there scheme the best. They need starters not back ups. I rest my case.
Indianapolis: Carlos Dunlap DE Florida Too talented to fall out of the first round and Indy usually drafts value. Also happens to be a position of need.
New Orleans: Sergio Kindle DE Texas I say they bulk him up and turn him into a rush end. Athletic enough for Gregg Williams to exploit in his pressure schemes.
I have 3 more rounds done. Will try to post as the draft is going.
