I have been watching most of ISU bowl game. I just dont get excited watching them, I am not a hater, just blah.

Anyway, that replay looked like a td before the fumble. Then you could hear the ISU fans booing the PI call a few plays later but the ISU Dback clearly grabbed the receivers arm.

Go read their game thread at CyFan. Literally every post in the last 10+ minutes has been about he refs. They even thought the PI call was bad. ISU DB grabbed the WR's arm with both hands and pulled him. Not even a question...unless you're a moron.

Even the announcers were saying he did a good job acting, and that the ref that called it couldn't have seen the holding. I love it when clowns cry. Congrats to them on the win nonetheless.

It was probably a TD, but that just evens out from when Memphis got robbed on Lazard's TD "catch" when he clearly didn't have control of the ball. Not to mention ISU got bailed out on Kempt's interception prior to that. ISU is going to miss Lazard and their seniors on defense.

Yeah it was obvious to me that the fumble was a make up call for the awful roughing the passer flag on the INT.

Yes that was an awful roughing the passer call but I dont think it was a make up call and I dont think officials in football do make up calls. I think on the goalline fumble there was just so much traffic and bodies in the way the headlinesmen didnt see the ballcarryer cross the line with the ball so they couldnt call TD but they all saw the loose ball.

I am not sure why the officiating rules let the umpire call a TD or give a spot on a running play that is right at their feet. Instead they wait for the headlinesmen to run in from the sideline while all kinds of "mayhem" haha, occurs in the pile and the ball placement goes forwards or backwards. the umpire is right there and they can blow their whistle when the runner is down but they are not supposed to spot the ball or call TD.
