Another General Bowl Games Discussion

My favorite bowl game names:

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (I think this one is still being played)

Poulan Weed Eater Independence Bowl - I’m pretty sure there is still an Independence Bowl but it was Weed Eater in the 90s and I wanted Iowa to play in it. they took a couple B1G teams back then but not every year. I believe Indiana & Michigan St played in it. Iowa St played there once but after weed eater was the sponsor

I have watched, maximum, two minutes of all the bowl games thus far. And that was to see Army pouring it on vs Houston. Which is to say, I've watched more NFL minutes during that same time frame.

Totally forgettable.

Most of the early bowl games until about Dec 29th or so are mainly only for the schools fans. Usually it is the big bowls and the top 30 teams in the later bowls that have the matchups of interest to many general college football fans

As a Hawkeye living in Badger country, I am so happy to see Bucky playing in the famous Pin Stripe Bowl! Their fans won't travel to New York for the game because the bars don't have Busch Lite and charge more than $3 a pint.

Minnesota vs Georgia Tech.

The boat rowers are whipping the wrambling wreck. Its 13-zip but seems a lot worse.

I can’t believe some of the matchups. Miami and Wisconsin two years in a row? Michigan and Florida played two years ago .
