Another ESPN3 game..

I realize it's non-conference but still a pain for Direct TV viewers.
For what cable costs now, I feel like you should be able to watch a game of ping pong in Ding Dang if that's your thing.

ESPN is grooming everyone to start now paying for streaming services. I'm getting closer and closer to cutting the cable everyday. Wifey never watches TV, I only watch Hawkeye sports and NFL. And I could do that at the bar down the street.

Not convenient by any means but as I've stated before, I can at least view ESPN 3 on my Iphone and watch it that way. Never had that opportunity with Mediacom as a DishNetwork guy. Either way, it still sucks and would love to get it on either BTN, ESPN, or ESPN 2.

This is making me upset! With what we all pay they should at least televise the games on standard packages

Now that I have a log in from someone I can stream it from my phone to my tv and it is just as good quality as if it were on espn

Would be nice if they would at least show the games on a delayed basis instead of reshowing their same tired programming all night long.

What also gets me is all those alternative sports channels 5000s or so. At least put the game on one of those.

I am able to get ESPN3 and still think it sucks. Everyone in the state of Iowa at least should be able to watch basketball games.

The days of old when every game was on local TV (with Mac and Morgon on the call) are over, but at least those with cable should be able to get the games.

I still think The Big Ten Network caused a lot of this with hoops. I was never a fan of the channel when it started and still think their programming is garbage. They do a decent job showing football games but they completely **** it away during non-conference basketball. They make enough money to be able to support sending crews out to games and if they can't, they shouldn't be called The Big Ten Network.

There should be an Iowa Sports Channel. So many of these games could be there. I am also annoyed with btn plus. Last night I was trying to watch Iowa vs UNI basketball. Every commercial break caused the feed to be lost and the sound turned off, even after play started. So I had to refresh it each time. Also some roku channels would help.

I watch all the espn games on my computer, simply go to watchespn....if you have direct tv you should be able to then watch the game I have mediacome for internet,

Thank You BTN for taking us back to pre-rabbit ear days, hell I'm pretty sure there were more Iowa B-ball games on TV before I was born. This is an F-in joke. Not acceptable in any way shape or form. This is a big middle finger to you BTN and DirectTV-- you can both eat ####.

Oh My!

The above exclamation was stolen from Dick Enberg without consent.

The Iowa television network...who was that announcer. I remember thinking bafoon....but I can't remember his name...Oh My, why can't I remember.

No...Directv does not allow you to watch ESPN3 for whatever reason.

However, its still not too tough to watch the games even if you have Directv (like I do). If you have an Xbox 360 or Xbox One you get ESPN3 for absolutely free through the ESPN App....no login required. Also, practically every other cable outlet allows for ESPN3 so find a buddy who has Mediacom or Comcast (or whatever) and borrow their login information.

If you don't have friends, I'm pretty sure your parents don't have directv, so get their login information.

I love my dish. And Chromecast

yes they will, I watch them all on my computer, thanks to directv, in fact, I am on now, just waiting for the game to begin

You have mediacom internet. Most people with directv have century link which is not a provider of espn3. The people that have directv with century link are screwed unless they know someone who can give them login info.

If you get Watch ESPN you can also stream from your laptop to your TV if both have HDMI inputs. Good quality as you said. I watch it on the Roku Streaming Stick. The best $50 I have ever spent. The picture is 1080 HD and dolby digital sound......

It still stinks that so many people can't watch most of the Hawks preconference games, having to resort to First Row and Wiziwig and the possibility of attracting Malware.....
